Hand-made by the Kawachu microbrewery, the Sotembo WAZA Tokubetsu (Special) Honjozo 想天坊 特別本醸造「技」 is considered a high-end Honjozo among brewers.
Made with Takamine Nishiki rice 高嶺錦 from Niigata Prefecture, this Honjozo Special expresses the Sotembo style very well. It is a dry sake in the Tanrei Karakuchi (light dry) style; refreshing with a sweet and full-bodied umami that makes it a perfect drink to accompany your meal.
It is delicious served cold, at room temperature, or slightly warmed.
